Chicago boasts 115 miles of on-street bikeways with signs designed for bicycle destinations. All major sites such as museums, landmarks and parks offer accessible bike racks. Explore diverse neighborhoods by bike or enjoy Chicago's famous 18-mile multi-use Lakefront Trail. Outside of the city you'll find serene forest preserve trails that are a short bus or train trip away (link to CTA trip planner).
The Chicagoland Bicycle Federation sells a map of recommended routes in the region for $6.95 and the City of Chicago offers a free bike map of the city.
