Adult Registration + Membership: Save both on registration and the benefits of being a member of Active Transportation Alliance by combining your purchase!

Adult Registration + Team Active Trans: Join Team Active Trans, a group of enthusiastic cyclists working together to raise money to make biking, walking and public transit safer and more convenient in Chicagoland. There is no minimum fundraising goal, and all fundraisers have a chance to win great prizes and a free registration to any Active Trans cycling event in the upcoming year, including MB Bike the Drive 2017. Enjoy team outings, including a Happy Hour and two ourdoor training rides. Raise $200 before April 1st and receive a team tech tee. 

Youth Registration: All riders 17 years of age or younger, accompanied by an adult, get to take advantage of the flat, steeply discounted registration.  Not sure if your child needs to register?  All youth on their own bikes or tagalongs must register. For those in trailers or child bike seats, registration is not required.  Our motto is - you pedal, you pay.   

  • Youth Registration price remains constant at $17
  • Events will be held rain or shine. No refunds. 

Group Discounts

Pre-paid discount tickets are on sale until Monday, May 9. Please keep this date in mind if you would like to take advantage of this discount!

Looking for a good excuse to skip the corporate golf outing and take your clients out to an event they’ll really enjoy? How about an incentive for your employees? Maybe your trade group is looking for a good excuse to get together outside your regular meetings, or you want an active alternative to the family barbeque on a holiday weekend?


There are so many reasons why a discounted block of tickets might be worth your while for MB Financial Bank Bike the Drive. So get together and enjoy the ride!

  • Prepaid blocks of 10 adult registrations are sold for $408 (a 15% discount off the base price)
    • Additional adult registrations can be added to your block of 10 for $42 each additional person
    • And as always, youth register for $17 each

To make group arrangements, please email Sean Blay our Registration Manager at You will get invoiced from our staff accountant for however many block of tickets you want to purchase. After payment has been received he will provide your group with a personalized code and simple instructions for you to share with your group members so that each individual can complete their registration free of charge. 


Accessible Riding

Whether you use a hand cycle, a three-wheeled bike (i.e. a tricycle) or any other type of adaptive bicycle, we want to ensure you have the best possible experience.

Visually impaired riders and their tandem pilots are only required to pay for one adult registration, however, both riders must register. Contact us at 312-427-3325 or to make this or any other specific arrangements that will help you get on your way to a car-free bike ride!

Youth Scholarships

The Active Transportation Alliance is proud to offer 200 complimentary MB Financial Bank Bike the Drive registrations to local youth groups who otherwise would not be able to participate in the event. All youth must be accompanied by a chaperone.
